Kickoff is 4:00 Saturday the 7th at Estes, and then Austin Peay on the 21st is Senior Day, last home game. We're 2-7 which, well. It hurts.
My husband and I have gone for over 30 years and I can remember when you couldn't find a parking spot anywhere near campus and the whole east side of the stadium was people standing because the seats were gone. Now you can spread out a blanket and a thermos and nobody bothers you. I don't mind the room but it's sad.
We're going Saturday anyway, mostly because I feel bad for the seniors. Those kids showed up and worked just like everybody else, losing record or not. Plus 4 o'clock should be nice and cool.
So who else is going? And does anyone think there's a way to salvage this season or is it just finish strong and hope for next year? Curious what the real fans think, I just go for the hot chocolate and the band...
