ok i know people are tired of this topic but i'm still trying to sort out what's fact and what's rumor. so far i've got $1 billion, about 300,000 sq ft, right by the conway corp wastewater plant off lollie road, around 50 jobs promised, and no company name attached, just "project stratus." is that all still right?
i talked to a couple people at the farmers market saturday and got two totally different takes. one guy said it's the best thing that could happen for the tax base, and the lady at the next booth said the water situation alone should kill it. honestly i like new businesses coming to town, i'm usually the first one asking what's going in that empty building on oak st 😅 but a billion dollar project with no name on it makes me uneasy.
